Lachlan Thompson has over 15 years of experience in the dental industry having completed is apprenticeship in 2008.
In 2010, he founded his first laboratory in Perth. As one of the early adopters of digital scan and cad design, they specialised in digital dental technology.
In 2011 Lachlan co-founded CAMforce, a machinery and material supplier. CAMforce sold and licensed Imes-Icore, Roland and Envisiontec equipment to the dental industry and after a period of rapid growth the business was acquired by Dental Axess in 2013.
Lachlan acquired and integrated Omni Dental in Subiaco with his existing laboratory business in 2013.
Since then, Omni Dental has grown from an 8 FTE’s to 27 FTE’s across laboratories in Perth and Melbourne. Due to Lachlan’s continued focus on implementing digital workflows and technology, Omni now operates as a model for digital efficiency and is widely regarded as the leader in digital dental prosthetics.
